Burgundy Macramé Bracelet
This burgundy Macramé bracelet is one of a kind. The knotting pattern is all original and organic – not from a pattern, but rather an original design. This makes the end result totally unique.
Macramé is a technique that has been used for hundreds of years to create beautiful works of art. The best way to learn is not from a book or video, but from another artist. I first learned this technique 17 years ago, and have made macramé jewellery almost every day since then.
The central stone used in this bracelet is jade. Jade is a very hard stone valued in many cultures – China, Central America, and North American especially. It can be found in different locations all over the world – British Columbia, China, Mexico and Guatemala, among others. This jade stone is from Guatemala, where the Mayan people have used jade as a sacred stone for thousands of years.
Because of the tight knotting and intricate design, this bracelet is very strong and will last for many years. It is totally waterproof. See bracelet details for more information.
